I know MS havent showed anything solid for the moment with Natal. But seeing the reaction this "maybe natal, maybe not natal" video is causing, I think theres going to be A LOT of hate if MS manage to pull of FPS's and other hardcore games with Natal.
@remeberthe357: I'm skeptical myself about natal, but I'm telling myself MS are already in too deep for natal NOT to work. I dont see MS letting natal not be the what it is supposed to be.

Well...thats actually what I meant.
Saakings says only shooters sell on the 360: Assassins Creed, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Devil May Cry, Mass Effect, Crackdown, Lost Odyssey, Halo Wars, Forza, Fable, Project Gotham Racing, Batman AA and much more ARE NOT shooters but have all sold pretty well.
It was just to show that what he said was silly.
Making it multiplat = automatically more sales.
By the on the PS3 only shooters sell too: Uncharted, GTA, Modern Warfare, Resistance, Killzone, MGS4 etc.
All the other genres sell A LOT slower: Ratchet and Clank, LBP, Heavenly Sword, Infamous, Demons Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Motorstorm etc.
Looks like PS3 gamers only want shooters (sigh).
By the way even Lost Odyssey sold more than Valkyria though the 360 hardly exists in Japan.
Too bad it didnt sell enough on PS3 for SEGA to put it on the PS3.
They should have just made it multiplat from the start rather than taking the risk of making it a PS3 exclusive.

Well the thing is I dont understand how can the game have "no towns" at all, I've read a couple of reviews already and I still dont exactly see how can that be possible...
I just tell myself that SE must have filled in the void somehow. I dont know with what or how. I know that you cant just spend 25hours fighting. I'm going to have to see by myself with my own eyes and make my own opinion.
Anyways I dont think we need a 1000 towns, most JRPG's have 4 or 5 ...
Dont even bother. He WANTS to believe its because of the 360. SE simply listened to complaints and did with FF13 the opposite of what they did FF12.
Even if its CLEAR its a DESIGN decision, he will still stick to "its the 360's fault" talk.
Lost Odyssey had towns, was more open world than what FF13 seems to be and was 40 hours long just for the main quest and it's on the 360...
You see its just a different approach.
I play JRPG's for the story, characters and atmosphere...in other words:EMOTION!!!
With FF13 it looks like SE have done everything to enhance all that while cutting all the lengthy exploration, bla bla in villages and sometimes tiring leveling up.
If chatting to villagers, neverending exploration, weak story, object collecting is your thing too bad for you. You can always go back to FF12 or WRPGS like Fallout or Oblivion. Not saying that they are bad, just a differen...
I so do not care about a new gen of consoles right now.
If you're talking about piracy then thats just shameful. Especially when it concerns quality studios and games like Bioware's.
Except for the "its linear" argument, there seems to be nothing big wrong with FF13. The graphics are top notch, same for the gameplay and music.
And what makes me believe even more than its pure hate is that FF10 is linear like crazy and is considered as one of the best FF's from the very same people hating on FF13.
And when you actually think about it, since when are JRPGS known for being open world ??

I have the feeling some people absolutely want FF13 to fail.
And Im sure its the very same people who have been praying it fails ever since it went multiplat.
Its time to get over it. It is a major succes in Japan and it will be the same in the West. And most important of all, it seems to be a quality FF title.
